Sorry for the bad news, but I’ve decided to drop Bloodlines Ablaze after I finish translating Volume 1. Volume 2 has a pseudo-underage scene (Mahoro is transformed with a de-aging spell, but he’s normal on the inside), and I do not want that kind of content on this site. I took a gamble with this brand-new series, and unfortunately it didn’t pay off. It’s too bad, because I really like the world-building in this series. I will post a summary of Volume 2 when I finish up the translation for Volume 1.
My quick impression of Volume 2: Lots of dramatics. And also no, why, fix this please. (But there’s no fixing some things.)

The English version of Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka is available for pre-order, and you can see the front and back covers! It’s so cute and colorful! Ichiho-sensei is also looking forward to the translation, and she’s amused that Kei is called Prince Charming on the back cover! She says that his boyfriend will definitely tease him about it with things like “Hey, it’s morning, Prince Charming~” and “Prince Charming, do you feel like toast today?” Too cute~😋
Note that the early digital release will be in July!
Hanaarashi no Ketsuzoku will also be out tomorrow in Japan! I can’t wait to read it~ I’m also getting the physical copy with the special short story bonus~

I was browsing Chil Chil for new novels to read and came across one titled The Tale of the Strongest Married Knight Couple. Then I read the reviews and found out that it wasn’t about two badass knights and their adventures fighting off bad guys together. 😠Sadness. Now I want to read a story like that!

The publisher released the back cover image for Volume 2! I think it’s Oscar because his golden retriever is there too, and it looks like he may be vying for Mahoro’s affections in Volume 2. There’s also a peek at the insert image inside the book here and here. Has Mahoro become a little more assertive!?
